Options
- Do Not Include In Exports - Select this option if data for the employee should not be included in the export file for payroll. For example, this option can be used for employees who are paid through a temporary agency.
- Enable Lockouts - Select this option to restrict employees from clocking In too early or Out too late. The Enable Lockout
This option is currently only supported with the PC600, CT70 and CT72 clocks. option requires a fixed shift to be assigned to the employee.
- Allow Door Access - Select this option if the employee's badge swipe or PIN should activate the relay in the clock to open a door strike at the facility. Please Note:
This option is hardware dependent.
- Ignore Holiday Calendar - Select this option if the employee should not accumulate holiday time defined in the holiday calendar.
- Ignore Premium Time Rules - Select this option if the employee should not accumulate premium time.
General Overrides
- Holiday Calendar - From the list select an alternate holiday calendar to assign to the employee.
- Apply Rule This Many Days From Hire Date - If the employee must work a probation period before they are eligible for holiday pay from a holiday calendar, enter the amount of days that must be worked from their hire date. If no probation period is required, leave the setting at zero.
- Override Maximum Hours Out To Start A New Shift - Select this option to override the Maximum Horus Out To Start A New Shift setting at the Advanced tab of the Pay Class. After selecting this option, enter how long the employee must be punched Out before PayClock will automatically start a new shift.
- Override Maximum Work Day Length - Select this option to override the Maximum Work Day Length setting at the Advanced tab of the Pay Class. After selecting the option, set the longest amount of time the employee is expected to work in a day when the shift crosses midnight.
- Time Zone- Select this drop down and choose a different time zone to override the System Settings Time Zone for the selected employee.
Punched Break Overrides
- Break Type - Select the Break Type
Do Not Override Break - no override will occur. Unpaid Break - Define an unpaid punched break override. Paid Break - Define a paid punched break override. option for setting up a punched break override for an individual employee. enter the amount of time from the first punch of the day that represents the window when the break can be started.
- Minimum Hours From Start - This setting defines the beginning of the time window where a punch can start the break.
- Maximum Hours From Start - This setting defines the end of the time window where a punch can start the break.
- Break Length - Use this field to define the length of the punched break.
- Maximum Break Length - Enter the maximum time allowed for the break. If this time is exceeded, the punches will not be considered as break punches, but as normal In and Out punches.
Auto-Deduct Break Overrides
- Auto-Deduct Override - Select the options for setting up an automatically deducted break override for an individual employee.
- Worked Hours to Qualify - Enter the amount of time that must be accumulated to qualify for the automatic deduction.
- Break Length - Enter the amount of time that will be deducted from the day total.
